The genesis of the Global Institute of Artificial Intelligence (GIofAI) can be traced to its predecessor, the Open AI Research organization, which emerged in the early stages of 2018. Evolving from its initial community-oriented roots, this entity underwent a transformative shift towards a more structured and sophisticated institutional framework, culminating in the establishment of the Global Institute of Artificial Intelligence.
