1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the Game of AI Skills competition ("Competition") organised by Dyaus Analytics Pty Ltd, trading as Global Institute of Artificial Intelligence ("GIofAI", "we", "us", or "our"). By registering or participating, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

• 2.1 Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years and older at the time of registration.
• 2.2 By participating, you represent that:
  • • You are participating on your own behalf and not on behalf of another individual or entity.
  • • All details provided during registration are true, accurate, and complete.
  • • You are not a GIofAI employee, contractor, or associated party involved in the creation or delivery of this Competition.
• 2.3 GIofAI reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify entrants who do not meet the criteria.

3. Registration and Entry Fee

• 3.1 Participation requires payment of a non-refundable registration fee of $20 AUD.
• 3.2 Payment must be made through GIofAI’s designated platform. GIofAI is not responsible for any technical errors or failed transactions.
• 3.3 Only individuals with confirmed payment and registration will be granted access.

4. Competition Format

• 4.1 The Competition will be conducted online and consist of:
  • • 90 multiple-choice questions
  • • One correct answer per question
  • • 20 seconds per question
  • • Auto-submission after 20 seconds
• 4.2 Once the Competition begins, it will run continuously without pause. No extensions or retries will be granted.

5. Scoring and Evaluation

Incorrect Answer	–0.5 point (negative marking)
Skipped/Unanswered	0 points

5.2 Speed bonuses (correct answers only):

• 0–5 seconds: +0.5 bonus
• 6–10 seconds: +0.3 bonus
• 11–20 seconds: No bonus

5.3 Final score: Base Score + Speed Bonus – Penalty

6. Tie-Breaker Round

• 6.1 If participants tie, a separate Tie-Breaker Round will be conducted.
• 6.2 The tie-breaker uses the same scoring and speed rules.
• 6.3 GIofAI’s decision is final and binding.

7. Prize

• 7.1 Winner receives $500 AUD, non-transferable and non-redeemable for other benefits.
• 7.2 Winner must provide ID and bank or PayPal details.
• 7.3 Prize paid within 14 business days after verification.
• 7.4 If winner fails to respond within 10 business days, prize may be withheld or reassigned.

8. Fair Play and Disqualification

• 8.1 Prohibited:
  • • External assistance (AI tools, search engines, etc.)
  • • Team participation or proxy players
  • • Multiple registrations or identity fraud
  • • Any cheating or system manipulation
• 8.2 Suspected misconduct may lead to investigation, disqualification, and prize withholding.
• 8.3 GIofAI may disqualify entrants at its sole discretion.

9. Technical Requirements

• 9.1 Participants are responsible for stable internet, supported browser/device, and disabling interfering software.
• 9.2 GIofAI is not responsible for technical issues, device malfunctions, or platform outages.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GIofAI is not liable for any loss or damage arising from participation or platform performance. GIofAI’s total liability is limited to the registration fee ($20 AUD).

11. Force Majeure

GIofAI is not liable for delays or cancellation caused by events beyond its control (acts of God, internet disruptions, cyber-attacks, government restrictions, etc.).

12. Privacy and Data Handling

• 12.1 Personal data used for identity verification, competition administration, prize processing, and internal reporting (anonymised).
• 12.2 Data handled in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
• 12.3 Participants may be contacted for feedback or future opportunities.

13. Intellectual Property

All content (questions, interface, branding) is GIofAI’s intellectual property and may not be reproduced without permission.

14. Modifications and Cancellations

GIofAI may cancel, reschedule, or modify the Competition or these Terms at any time with notice via email or the official website.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Victorian courts.
